Artisan Collaboration

Pontes has entered into an important new collaboration with leading fashion designer AM Brazil to support the work of artisans and sustainable production, and honour local traditions. AM Brazil searches continuously for initiatives with a positive environmental and social impact. Its designs make use of natural materials transformed into accessories by artisans from Ceará. In line with this, the company developed Project Paba, which promotes handicrafts and trains women artisans.

We are delighted to join with AM Brazil in this initiative. Our favourite pieces in this Collab include Uru bags, by Mr Nelson, echoing bags used by local fishermen; and Folha and Palmeira handbags, crafted by artisan women from Itaiçaba.
