    Generate income and decent work for the regions with the lowest HDI and highest social vulnerability in Brazil – the Caatinga hinterland, benefiting 100% of rural workers with formal work, decent wages, guaranteed Human Rights, social benefits, health and safety.

  • Raising Social Welfare and Local Prosperity

    Generation of income higher than the local cost of living (living wage) and development of skills and human potential. Through training and capacity building in best socio-environmental practices, which increase productivity and local development opportunities – carnauba starts to be seen as a prosperous and attractive.

  • Sustainable Communities

    Partnerships with the operation and carnauba grove surrounding communities, to promote education, environmental awareness about the Caatinga, restoration of green spaces, and local development.

  • SUSTAINABLE COMMUNITIES Partnership with 7 municipalities from the states of CE, PI, and MA; 2,300 people impacted with environmental education, donation of seedlings and recovery of green spaces; 2,828 handouts distributed about the Caatinga, good management

  • CAUCAIA (municipality where Pontes Farm is located) 1,650 people informed about environmental education and seedlings; 16 environmental agents trained
  • SANTA RITA 57 students were able to get back to classes because of the support Pontes gave to the local school; 317 people with access to water and sanitation, besides the distribution of seedlings and training in sustainability and environment for 124 people
  • CAUÍPE 90 students benefited from Pontes support (Science Fair, Environmental Education and Sports); 513 people benefited with environmental education and seedling distribution; 74 students trained as environmental agents
