  • Rescue and Protection of Local Biodiversity

    Invest in safeguarding the genetic heritage and valuing the Caatinga species, with a nursery to produce seedlings, and the largest private genetic bank of Caatinga species.

  • Environmental Recovery and Restoration

    Promote the recovery of green spaces and the restoration of degraded areas in favour of the biome’s regeneration.

  • THE LARGEST PRIVATE GENETIC BANK IN NUMBER OF NATIVE SPECIES OF THE CAATINGA:

    590,875 SEEDS

    32 NATIVE SPECIES

    6 PROTECTED OR ENDANGERED

    (Carnaúba, Aroeira Preta, Cedro, Craibeira, Jacaranda e Jatobá)

  • 129,595 SEEDS AND SEEDLINGS distributed for environmental education and awareness raise on the Caatinga’s value, in partnership with 7 municipalities in the region

  • 38,360 THOUSAND SEEDS AND SEEDLINGS destined for the recovery of green spaces and the restoration of degraded areas in the biome

  • 31,630 SEEDLINGS PRODUCED AND 21,541 SEEDLINGS DISTRIBUTED, WITH A POTENTIAL REMOVAL OF 646 TONS OF CO2e, since 2020, by the Pontes Research Centre for research and production of seedlings
