It has of course been recognised for many years now that climate change is
one of the biggest challenges we face as a society.
During 2021 we took the decision at Pontes to accelerate our approach to
tackling climate issues. We did this by switching to renewable energy sources
and implementing new emission reduction strategies.
We achieve true carbon neutrality
Combining these actions with the compensations achieved by our conservation
areas and reforestation programmes, we’re proud to say that Pontes has achieved
true carbon neutrality across our operations.
